This is one of our most asked question and for good reason! Reading product labels at the best of times can be difficult let alone in a busy supermarket. These tips will help you choose the right product for you and will help you stay within your health goals.

When comparing two or more products, it is best to read the per 100g column (right hand side) as some products have different serving sizes, therefore making is difficult to compare.

Important things to look out for when reading labels include: total fat, saturated fat, sugar and sodium. In addition aim to choose products with less than 7 grams of sugar per serving and with at least 3 grams of fibre to support a total daily intake of 25-30 grams. This helps control sugar intake, while promoting a fiber-rich diet for digestive health and overall well-being.
